What We Look For

Great Stories

The undisputed heart of every great manuscript is a great story. Dragonon's primary focus is to find these great stories and provide them to our readers.

We want a story that we're excited about, one with interesting characters, vibrant scenery, and a can't-put-down plot. Our excitement then translates to media excitement and ultimately, reader excitement.

Dragonon will consider a manuscript of any genre as long as it's unique. We're looking for new ideas and fresh perspectives, not a simple reworking of a familiar plot. While our main focus is currently fantasy, mystery, religious, and action/adventure fiction, we're also publishing young adult humor. If we find your manuscript to be a well-written story with characters we care about, we'll consider it for publication.
